Second, I found it interesting to see that I could somehow still manage to write messages in the weekly news in absentia. Third, it's good to be back... well, sort of. I never thought it would happen, but I actually started to miss Alert a little bit while I was gone (don't get me wrong, it was still VERY nice to be home for a little while!). If you're looking for stories and/or pictures from the vacation (and let's face it, who among you isn't?), they should be up on the new and improved (well, improved) kevinanderson.ca by the end of the week at the latest! I hope you can all hold out until then. Lates, --K Kevin Anderson Alert Baseline Operator From the Desk of Pete: Celine's reign of early mornings has come to an anticlimactic end. Enter now Kevin and the New Age of Rockness! In all seriousness it was sad to see Celine leave that frosty Thursday afternoon. But such is the ephemerality of GAW Lab operator replacements. This was the week of freeze for Pete. I somehow managed to get frostbite on my nose (not too serious) during a daring double Hi-Vol filter change. Oh yeah, I also made a kickin' snowsculpture for the Sunrise Carnival. Unfortunately we didn't win, and I hate to admit we were beaten by a giant ass. It's not the first time that's happened to me. Cheers! -Pete
