It's always fun to dress up, but my head was definitley paying the next day for all the wine I drank at the dinner! Afterwards, Monster House threw a Halloween party up in the Arctic Club and the majority of people arrived in costume. I decided to wear the same outfit that I used last year- the classic 80's aerobic workout girl, legwarmers and all. It might not have been pretty but it was definitley comfortable! I was trying to convince Chad to dress up as a TECO analyzer with a filter and air inlet and I was almost succeeding, but after some thought we figured that only the two of us would find it funny and everyone else would just find it strange! haha. So, Sandy and Hayley finally made it home! Almost a miracle considering how the planes are running lately. Because of some of the recent delayed or cancelled flights, all of the alcohol Tradie has ordered over the past month and a half has yet to arrive. The station is now vodka and rye free and you can see the anticipation in people's eyes when that plane lands wondering if some booze will be on it. Well, I guess that's it for now. Hope everyone is doing well! Take care, Maria Maria Vavro Alert Baseline Operator Hi, The beginning of this week marks the half way point for me! Although this is a milestone, I am still rather enjoying my stay up here since it alots me time to do things I am usually too lazy to do ; things such as working out, reading and (hopefully soon) beginning my Technical Report. Halloween was fun! I had responsibility of carving the pumpkin, a job well done I suppose. I had the pumpking with its mouth open losing it's guts into a bowl. haha. It looked pretty neat. My costume was pretty funny too, although I did not dress up like an ozone analyser as anticipated, I did pin mini cereal boxes to my shirt with knives strewn in them...creating the effect of...you guessed it..cereal killer! That night at the halloween party I had a great time, i danced with an aeorobics instucter after all!. Chad Guertin, Assistant Baseline Operator
