Hardly seems like I've been here for 5 weeks, does it? No, it seems more like 12. At least to me. Last night was the Souper Des Nobles, and I took Frank as my guest. He wore a suit, and I could barely scrounge up a shirt with buttons on it. Today is the official sunrise, but it's overcast so it's not actually too bright out right now. After last week's madness the storms have died out for a while and it's actually gotten quite warm. However, this wasn't before the wind gave Frank a bit of a surprise out at the SST. We had a plane in last week, but I guess it was a holiday or something in Thule, so they came straight here and then stayed overnight. I can see why they would want to do that, given the spotless track record with leaving Hercs here overnight. Anyway, the plane is still here. They sent up a second repair Herc with a bunch of parts, and then that plane took out all the people waiting. The crew is still working on the original plane, I heard they were going to try a test flight this afternoon or tomorrow. Tim Christie Hopefully on his way out too...
