The flight up was good, lots of sleep time in there, however, the landing got a bit interesting. Apparently they missed the approach and were 50ft high of the beacon, and had to circle around and try again, but in this manuever it felt like the plane was just getting tossed around and the heat was just pouring into the plane because the pilots were throttling up the engines. After about 5 to 10 sickening minutes, the plane landed safely. Took a trip out to the lab on my first day here, got the general tour and a run over on some of my duties. We didn't flask Wednesday due to increasing winds. Thrusday we didn't flask either as the winds had picked up and we were in Condition 1. By Friday, we made it out to the lab again, got the flasking done and I was taught further duties. As for adjusting to the location, I haven't had any trouble so far, the only change has been that I sleep a lot. The new guy, Karl Brad wanted his name in here too.
