On both Monday and Tuesday the winds were quite high, hitting 19 m/s on Tuesday, as a result we didn't make it out to the lab at all those two days. So, Wednesday turned out to be a really long day, we were out at the lab until 11:30pm getting everything done and caught up, as well as clearing the entrances which were heavily snowed in. Those vestibules need to be rebuilt and/or sealed better. Friday was a decent day out at the lab, went through the usual routine with the exception of getting one of the brewers properly tracking again. Friday night got to be pretty entertaining. I awoke to a phone call around 9pm, it was Brad, "What're you up to?", "I'm sleeping.", "No no no, it's drinking time. Get down to Chimo." He claims that getting the student drunk is in his job description. So we both got heavily plastered, I got to know a few more people on the base, and crashed at some unknown hour. Following morning, I'm told there was a fire alarm which both Brad and I slept through at 5am, I didn't even wake up until 9, and that was just for some water. I didn't actually get up until 3:30pm, so a lot of booze. It'll be a good couple days before I do that again. Today (Sunday) we got a bunch of stuff ready for shipping and we're good to go for Monday. That's about it, joy and excitement exude. -Karl
