He sent us some great toys, air guns, and foam darts; we also acquired new pets, SEA MONKEYS!!! Lee started up the sea monkey kit, and the eggs hatched on Saturday, they are still really tiny but you can see them swimming around now. Hopefully the fish won't get too jealous. Some good news for the fish, H2O lent us some pH strips, so that we can keep a better eye on the fish tank, and hopefully reduce fish deaths. This week we had a special visitor, the prime minister!!!! He arrived Saturday night, along with 12 guests, which were his assistants, reporters and some military personal. Saturday night we spent in the Arctic club, the kitchen made fresh snacks and desserts, and they were great. The prime minister let everyone take turns getting a picture with him, which was very nice of him. Sunday morning we had a special breakfast in the dinning hall, which consisted of blueberry pancakes, and eggs benedict. After breakfast the prime minister headed to the GAW lab for a tour, along with his guests. If you caught the news this weekend, you would have seen Brad's smiling face on T.V.!!! Along with Madam Adam, and buffer. The tour went great. Afterwards, the prime minister delivered a speech to whole station in the igloo gardens, where he then presented Perry, the TMS, with fresh bologna! Stephen Harper had mentioned earlier that he told his daughter he came here to see Santa, so Gary from the Quarry crew dressed up as Santa for him Sunday afternoon, it was hilarious. We got some great pictures! Unfortunately this is also Brad's last week, he will be heading home Wednesday, which I'm sure is a relief to him, but sad for Lee and I. Best of luck to him. That's it for this week! -Julie
