SHIPPING Shipping Received: 02/11/06 - 1 box of NOAA SS - 1 case of CSIRO blue Shipping Sent: MAIL Mail Received: Mail Sent: Alert Weekly News Crash, fire alarms, inclement weather have made this week quite larming and exciting. Armand and Dave left Alert on the thursday morning but just as their plane landed the crash alarm went off. It was an unnerving moment. Fortunately it was just an electrical problem in the alarm system. During the next two days as the temperatures dropped from -15 to -35 C and the winds were roaring at about 20 m/s, there were two more fire alarms, both of them becuase of minor problems but definetly caused by the cold temperatures. With the snow blowing and with visibility of about 5 feet, it was about time that we enjoyed some real Arctic weather! Cheers, Lee
