Appears okay right after calibrations but then subsequently gets worse. Values are also fluctuating over time in the same cartridge indicating varying Hg ambient concentrations. - 007 placed in idle mode @ 1552z to troubleshoot. Both cartridges leak tested, nothing detected. Air burn performed on both cartridges @ ~1600z. Placed back sampling @ 1608z. - 007 stopped and set to full calibration @ 1645z. This should have been done right after cartridge burn. Set back to continuous sampling @~1800z. *057j - 007 & 012 stopped and restarted several times starting @ 1520z to troubleshoot potential flow problems in 012. Both set back on continuous sampling @ 1532z. - Accidently unplugged SAU controller momentarily on 007. Will have disrupted standard addition frequency. *058j - 007 & 012 placed in idle mode @ 1741z. 007 method changed to 5 min sampling time. Left in idle mode while 012 leak checked. Back on @ 1747z. O.K Ambient air (012): *056j - Brushes changed on 012 pump, set to continuous sampling @ 2103z. Turned off shortly after as pump was noisy (sounded as if it was struggling). *057j - 012 set to continuous sampling @ 1456z while at lab so pump condition could be monitored. - 007 & 012 stopped and restarted several times starting @ 1520z to troubleshoot potential flow problems in 012. Both set back on continuous sampling @ 1532z. - Clock on 012 set @ 1532z. *058j - 007 & 012 placed in idle mode @ 1741z. 012 leak tested ambient line from T-connector to check if room air was entering the instrument. No leak detected. Back sampling @ 1747z. O.K. RGM Unit, 1130 0016, 2537A (040): *056j - 040 placed in idle mode @ 1628z for quartz filter and soda lime trap change. Back sampling @ 1643z. *058j - 040 zero air switch on pump unit found "off", switched to "auto". Was likely flipped accidently during soda lime trap change on Monday (056j). O.K. "Pump 1" removed and "VOC 5" put in place. "Pump 1" had been working fine recently, but a couple months ago was making a rattling sound inside when turned on. New pump was leaked tested on both low and high pressure sides. Sampling Conditions: -39.2 C, 0.9 m/s, R.H. 37.3%, 984.7 mbar.
