I am beginning to wonder if this event should be classified as snow precipitation and not diamond dust. Accumulation is light, but real as can be seen from the photo of the snow sample table (last sample today at 1400 UTC, 3 hours ago).  Cloud cover I'd still call broken.  There is a "haze" to the sky that has been going all day - more blue-grey, than blue.\

The 360 deg halo described in the previous sample is still present and an upper tangental arc has become clearer. \

The batteries on the light source are getting a little low, so I started experimenting with lighting techniques on this sample - some results are good.\
