Processed data readme Data in this folder are processed from the raw measurements. CASPER_2017_flux_10_v3_decorr.txt (and .mat version): 10-min processed and met, nav and flux variables produced by the da_red script. This file should contain everything you might want. Bad values have been removed from most measurements but results are not filtered for relative wind, ship speed, etc. See _CASPER_2017_flux_10_file_format.txt for a description of variables in this file. CASPER_2017_flux_hr_v3_decorr.txt (and .mat version): 1-hour means and standard deviations for met and flux variables. Flux variables are filtered to remove 10-min values that do not meet selection criteria before hourly averages are computed. COARE bulk model output is recomputed from 'best' hourly mean met measurements. See _CASPER_2017_flux_hr_file_format.txt for a description of variables in this file. CASPER_2017_da_v3_decorr.txt : 10-min raw variables and computed quantities produced by the motcorr script. This is a headerless ascii file for easy loading in matlab. See _CASPER_W_da_file_format.txt for a detailed description of column IDs in this file. CASPER_2017_sp_v3_decorr.txt : 10-min spectra and cospectra data produced by the motcorr script. The specreader_CASPER_2017.m matlab script reads and plots from this file. Edit the script as necessary to produce the desired plots. da_decorr_v3 : daily da files which are concatenated to produce the CASPER_2017_da_v3_decorr.txt file. motion_decorr : hourly files of ship motion data from the wind correction. sp_decorr_v3 : daily da files which are concatenated to produce the CASPER_2017_sp_v3_decorr.txt file. uvwstream_decorr : hourly files of motion corrected uvw for each sonic, including sonic temperature. Winds are rotated into the streamline, so mean V and W are zero.
