CRUISE_ID	A text file containing the ship, voyage and cruise designator 
		for the data contained on this disk  (i.e. KN203-04 => Cruise 04
		of the 203rd Knorr voyage).
adcp		RDI 75 kHz Ocean Surveyor and 300kHz Work Horse ADCP data files
ctd		SeaBird 911+ CTD raw data files
ctd/process	SeaBird 911+ CTD processed data files	
gravimeter	Lacoste BGM-3 Gravimeter data file
knudsen		Knudsen 12 kHz and 3.5 kHz chirp sonar bathymetry data
multibeam	Seabeam 3012 raw .xse data files
r2r		Rolling deck to repository 'elog' files
underway	Underway sea surface data (Meteorological and Navigation log files)
underway/doc	Underway instrument metadata and calibration sheets
underway/proc	CSV files of all underway data, logged once per minute. Also contains 
		.dat and .samos files used for onboard utilities and automated weather 
		reporting services.
underway/raw	All raw data strings received by the underway data collection system
xbt		Sippican XBT data files
 

If a particular directory is not present on the Data CD, it indicates that 
no data of that type was collected during the cruise.  Additional directories 
may be added for storing data from special instrumentation.
