Data description

Monthly averages for each flux component are grouped by year in netCDF format 
and are available in the subdirectory 'monthly'.

Similar to daily files (refer to readme-daily.txt),
lhsh_oaflux_{yyyy}.nc: latent (QLH) and sensible (QSH) heat fluxes
lwsw_isccp_{yyyy}.nc: longwave (QLW) and shortwave (QSW) radiations
where {yyyy} is the year.

Net surface heat flux: Qnet = QLH + QSH + QLW + QSW

All variables are defined as downward (upward) positive (negative). 
The unit is Wm-2.
